[PS3] NFL Sunday Ticket on PS3

Watch Every Football Game with Sunday NFL Ticket On Your PS3

Xbox 360 users might have their fancy ESPN but the only sport most people care about is football. Sony just announced that PS3 users can sign up for NFL Sunday Ticket (a DirecTV exclusive) even if they don't have DirecTV. That means you can watch every NFL game straight from your PS3.
So if you're a PS3 owner but a non-DirecTV subscriber you can pay $340 for the entire Sunday Ticket package which includes every game in HD and the Red Zone channel. Before you scream expensive, that's about how much DirecTV customers pay for the Sunday Ticket package. If you're a PS3 owner and a DirecTV subscriber (who already subscribes to NFL Sunday Ticket) then it's an additional 50 bucks to use the PS3 as an additional receiver in your home (a little unnecessary if you ask me).
For non-DirecTV using football fans, this is what we've been waiting for.
The $50 fee for current subscribers sucks but I might bite.

Great news for those who live in buildings or places that cant get dish installed.
Best reason to have a license.

$340 is a lot of money to watch games that I likely don't really care about. If prices on this were comparable to MLB TV I'd be all over it.

$340 is insane. $150 would be my max.

So Sunday Ticket is $100 more than the actual PS3? For shame.

I'll be happy to stream games for VSN when Falcons aren't playing. Atlas should send me 100 bucks.

I pay $200 for Sunday Ticket on Bell TV in Canada. I would never pay $340. That's fucking insane.

You guys are missing the point. It's more expensive because it's for people who don't pay for fucking cable to begin with. If they charged the same rate as it was on TV, people would ditch TV for it.

                          DERP.

How many people have satellite exclusively for the NFL Ticket?

If you live out of market (for your favorite team), it's feasible since it comes out to $20 for 17 weeks of football. If you have good equipment (a good internet connection and TV), it's worth it in that situation. For me, I can watch the Giants each week without problem so no sense in dropping 3 bones for it.

Besides, my fat PS3 makes too much noise as it is so I'm not feeling hearing it's fat ass while watching football.
