How many people have satellite exclusively for the NFL Ticket?

If you live out of market (for your favorite team), it's feasible since it comes out to $20 for 17 weeks of football. If you have good equipment (a good internet connection and TV), it's worth it in that situation. For me, I can watch the Giants each week without problem so no sense in dropping 3 bones for it.

Besides, my fat PS3 makes too much noise as it is so I'm not feeling hearing it's fat ass while watching football.

There's people who are just fans who watch it all, fantasy following, gambling. There's many reasons to watch games out of your own market.

It is $$$ (I'm paying $54.99 for 6 months) but I love my NFL Sunday Ticket. Last year, I would stay home all day Sunday and just sit in front of the tv and watch the Bears game and everything after. Now that I have 2 DVRs in the house, I could watch the Bears game and record 3 games at the same time. I'm going to get the mobile feature that allows me to watch the games on my iPhone, so I don't have to stay home to watch the games.

Free to new DTV users only. Exsisting members still gotta pay. I don't watch much TV anymore so DTV is pointless for me. I got cheap shit on base and called it a day. My son has his cartoon channels and my wife has her favorite shit, lol.

Thats what I was getting at but you have to be assured that the service is like Netflix. Can multiple users log into the account simultaneously? You dont have to be a fan of the same team to do the shit. Simply get 2-3 other reliable people to paypal your their share, pay, set it up and share the shit.

So I've been debating about getting DirecTV just for the new Sunday Ticket deal, but now this drops and it has me thinking some more. The new DirecTV deal is $34 a month for 2 years (minimum 2 year contract). You figure that's roughly $816. So 1 year of Sunday Ticket is $340. Seems about right but I'm just not sure yet.
