I have directv solely for NFL ticket so this would be great if it was actually true, and worth it.

I read on AVS that a person spoke to Sony Customer Service and they said that a minimum of 3M bandwidth was needed to support the service and that it would scale up to an unspecified cap if you had more available bandwidth which is much better. Let's hope it is accurate.

        That's how MLB.tv works.

          Just bought it......

          1) You can only watch live games so far, hopefully they will have full games available post broadcast similar to MLB.tv
          2) They don't have any of the highlights from the pre-season games.
          3) The stream of the commercials being played was pretty smooth, albeit its a recording, still not too bad. The feed we will get is technically a recorded one anyway since the stream will be probably 10-15 secs behind a live broadcast.
          4) One thing in the FAQs I found "If you are receiving over 700kbps down from your provider, then you should be able to see all video content at the high setting" Good news for me
          5) Oh and the app by far is the fastest to load compared to mlb.tv and nhl gamecenter app.

I would be running it on wireless so I'm still going to hold off until I get some impressions. I've spent too much recently anyways on a new xbox (again) so my discretionary spending budget is on hold until further notice.

              .
There is just no way it is going to look good on a big screen TV at 700k though. It might be acceptable on an iPad or laptop screen. I've got the app installed and plugged in my friends username/password for his DirecTV To Go and it looks like I am good to go. The Pepsi challenge vs. OTA will happen this Sunday. I really hope this lives up to its potential!!

Well I get about 20MBps down from time warner and even their slowest speed offered is 788kbps.

I can see your point, but think of this how many people with a PS3 run the slow broadband speeds? They can't even play MP games or even run netflix on that comfortably.

What size television are you watching on?

I just logged in. I have the Sunday Ticket and mobile to go with DTV. Commercial was kinda ok. A little choppy, but I'm using wireless, you probably want to hard line for this. It shows that there is a Philly-Jets game being playing in overtime right now. Probably just a test, I don';t think any pre-season games are left. Once you click it, it just shows the commercials.
All games listed on the side, with selectable options. Red ZOne channel is there. Setup is almost exactly like the Online or mobile setup from last year.

Well with the payment option I'll hold off for another week (seeing as I should get to see the Lions/Bucs game on TV anyways) to see what the reviews are in. Really hoping wireless works pretty good though because there's no way I'm going to be able to run a hardline.

Yeah...I get 20Mbps down on wireless connection to the laptop, but I have my PS3 hardwired in, always have and always will. The wireless card on the PS3 is so terrible that even for the most minimalist thing the wireless connection be choppy.

Anyway.....god knows how fast I am when I am wired in

I hope not. If that commercial is an indicator of the broadcast quality of the games, I will not be a happy camper.
