Yeah that is a dumb idea and completely nullifies the point of having communities if the community is divided in different groups.

You old guys are so set in your ways, it's why I never got involved in Madden online in this community until I put myself in control.

Hate All Madden because the AI gets too involved and players don't play at their ratings, EA has already said that happens. AP is a much better way to measure player skill because it's up to the guy holding the sticks to make things happen.

Especially with sliders as an option and I think it's foolish to go AM, but again some guys are set in their ways with how they think they should be and some guys are just "too hard" to not play on All Madden.

I think it would be a mistake for this site to go this route. Nothing is to be built and grown with multiple small groups of players on different settings.

I'm not saying it should be the same as the leagues, I already hinted that the TGT way is not suited to pick up games, but having any more than one community is a poor idea overall.

I completely agree that there shouldn't be multiple communities, but knowing how stubborn folks in the online community can be, I have a feeling it may happen.

I hope the AM guys give AP a fair shot, because that's where the most realistic gameplay is at on next gen (assuming the settings are similar to Madden 10 and 11). The TGT AM vs AP statistics on Madden 10 proved that AP was far more realistic.

This. 8 or 9 minutes is better for a pickup game instead of 10 minutes because you're not worrying about stats. You can get a nice game in while cutting the time down slightly.

The problem with short quarters like 5-6 if you got a guy who dinks and dunks and runs well....he can take 4-5 mins off the clock on one drive....so if has 2 drives like that then there is half the game.

I play 8 min quarters in NCAA and sometimes that doesn't feel like enough especially if you have 2 guys pounding the rock and moving the ball in small increments. You could end up with very little possessions and that sucks.
