Accelerated clock causes people to actually be smart about their gameplan and playcalling. I used to hate it, but once I saw that it actually made a difference in the abuse of hot routes (offense and defense) and forced people to use timeouts to avoid delay of game penalties, I became a fan.

In Madden you can call hot routes and audibles far quicker than QB's can in real life, so why people get mad over reducing the pre-snap time from MORE to the SAME as real life is something I'll never understand.


Then again I'm Canadian and we're not too stupid and disorganized to need a 40 second playclock up here. 25 seconds bitches.
