Either way its a bad deal because 1) if you buy now you wont have it tomorrow. So if you buy it now u will have it Friday, and for 5$ less you get EA pass for 25$ which would hold more value as u can play some other games early.

Really now I look at it, this EA pass thing kinda curtails people selling the game early on EBAY as by the time people were to get it friday the Season pass is a better value for the $. Thanks for the link tho.

If you plan on getting the retail copy at full price you are paying 59.99 + tax in addition to the 25 you wasted on that season pass which will total around 90 bux.

That said I planned on picking it up for 80 friday if the local spot had it. Saves me a trip if the guy has it like he says he does.

60+20 = 80$ and u play the game friday. only madden.

60+25. u play the game friday, you can play fifa, nhl, tigerwoods, ncaa AND next years madden early as well since the pass lasts 1 year and next year madden should be early release before it expires. so technically in this case the season pass > spending 80$ to get madden early. the extra $5 actually does provide more value if your spending 80$ to get madden 3 days early, you could easily afford an extra $5. of course this only matters if you play those other games, or wanted 3 day rentals on them to try them out.

Season pass makes sense if you plan to play multiple games like PP mentioned. I love me some Fifa.

My problem is I don't want to play any EA Sports games on my ps3 other than Madden. I would prefer to play NHL and Tiger on my 360. And if I thought about Fifa, the same.
