These sliders are the best I've ever played in the history of Madden

Sorry for not posting stats, but after about 7 games, the only stat I see being too high is the run game on both sides. I will continue to tweak the human sliders for that. I also felt that human INTs were too high at 58, so I'm lowering them too. In a game against Green Bay, I picked off Rodgers twice very quickly ... something that shouldn't happen to such an elite QB - and I was using the Saints, not the Eagles.

100 seems like such a bizarre slider rating, but it really does work for me. The CPU poses a major challenge, especially trying to stop the damn run. I'm not entirely sold on the speed threshold of 100, because RBs can break away too often. That's ok if its Peterson or Johnson, not so much so for Ryan Grant. Fast DBs should be able to catch up to him.
The threshold thing is something I'm gonna consider changing.

Just tried similar sliders to these. CPU with everything at 90, Player sliders that were recently posted in the thread. First game I had was really great. Played Co-op with my roommate and we won 27-24 in OT. Only probably was a lot of interceptions, 3 by each QB. Will definitely have to bring those down a bit, but other than that, I'm very impressed. Made winning actually feel like I won something instead of being an easy road to the final whistle, but still keeping realistic stats. I used fast speed instead of very slow though.

That's how I feel. Playing the CPU really is a challenge now, but it doesn't feel like a cheesy challenge. There is still some work to be done on my sliders, but overall, this is the best playing the CPU game I've ever played on Madden.

I tried various sliders but am already giving up on offline. CPU decision making can't hang with your average online player.

I've always had to play with self imposed limits
            -Gameflow
            -No audibles
-No hot routes (smart routes OK)
-Player lock on D and can't be a DB

Still doesn't put together much of a fight. QB makes terrible choices on where to throw the ball and their ability to fight for anything in the air is a god damn joke. I have in years past limited myself to no user catching, but that just fucks with my passing game too much because of losing so many places to throw the football...and of course it's utterly boring. Lastly, of course, Special Teams are a disaster. Terrible at pinning deep, tries to run back punts where they are about to get instantly clocked (then fumble) and while FG kicking is okay...for a user it's automatic, so it's a negative.

I just can't do it and enjoy it.

I doubt CPU AI will catch up to human AI for a few years, but it will happen eventually.
I will order a Six from Battlestar Galactica when that happens.

It might, but it won't be anyone at EA that develops it.

(yes dave, I know they are nice guys and they try hard)

It's gonna have to be, unless you're willing to play football with the Springfield Isotopes.
