So now as the THRICE-mentioned Fall gaming season is upon us, we here at the VSD Arcade Podcast would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to those out there who while take out a second mortgages to get all the titles being made available.

Gears 3, Dead Island, Driver: San Francisco... these are the gateway drugs to what's to come.

I actually used to think it was pretty retarded. I just recently started getting into it and liking it.

Well, it's two all PS3 guys, including one that hates anything MS (Knubb). Brnt just hates it because of whatever reason. I did my best to defend it.

I also forgot to mention active reloads and curb stomping. Two more things that Gears either introduced or perfected and are awesome. But I was pretty tipsy so no surprise I forgot a few things. LOL.

Modern gaming as we know it is all about this. Grouping Gears into this category all the while ignoring things like almost all EA sports titles year after year, the assassin creed series, cod series, infamous, god of war series, gta series ect ect. is extremly short sited.

Yeah I can tell you don't listen to the podcast. I pretty much shit on all of that. inFamous is the only title you mentioned that I haven't shit on at some point. I disagree with that one because in two games there was some advancement. The premise can be the same, but bringing NOTHING new to the table is what I mean. Halo tried bringing something new and it is hit or miss based on how the fans like it or not, but yes I don't like how EA, Activision, all of those series do that.
