Go to mlgpro.com if you want to see real halo, gears, vegas, and cod tournaments. Those kids get paid $100,000 a year to play games. I went to the Orlando tournament and it was pretty amazing. Like 300 360's, 300 moniters, bleachers, projectors, the works. And they stream the tournaments online, and are sponsored by espn.
What the hell are you talking about?

What does MLG have to do with the console war?

..You lost me. What did MLG have to do with anything?

My point is that Halo 3 isn't the best shooter ever. Halo 2 is better than Halo 3, LAN and XBL imo. I had way more fun on Halo 2 than Halo 3. Wayyyy more.

So if you make no sense people are gonna ask you what you're talking about.

Nice, how often do you use that line?

The Halo 3 online population really hasn't declined that much since the release. It's still one of the most played games online(If not the most).

Take away everything dealing with MLG from Halo 3 and it still will have sold the same amount on release date. Not too many people decided to buy Halo because of MLG.

Now on the flip side. Take away everything Halo, MLG has ever had and what does MLG have left?............

I have nothing against the PS3, if someone gave me one, I'd take it. I just can't see spending $500 on a console with such limited function. Plus the controller's too small for my fucking gorilla hands.
what sort of limited functions are you referring to?

I love my 360 for playing games but thats where it stops the ps3 has just so many more features than the 360 does and it is definetly the centerpiece to my entertainment center

                        360>PS3 for gaming/online play
                        PS3>360 for the extra stuff

Even with 360's RROD problems it still out sells PS3 by a decent amount. That just shows how much people think about the 360.

But really both systems pretty much do the same thing.

I meant online functionality and user friendliness.

Yeah, I pay for the 360 online, but it's worth it. The PSN seemed sloppy to me and hard to navigate.

And Home is...well...Second Life for the consoles.

A $500 bluray player is what it would turn out to be, for me at least.

meh, PSN works just as fine as xbox live IMO and Home, while it does seem lame, hasnt been fully released so i think its too early to judge.

i have trouble with psn but it might be because its on wifi and not a land line... I also hate the fact that it takes twenty minutes for the damn thing to install before you can play a new game... I love having the internet on it though
