I didn't realize you already had this years version.
What was that, you don't have it? Then I'll go ahead and stick to my pessimism and assume they'll screw it up.

Yeah, Head Coach's producer and his partner were added to the Madden team.

Still cautiously optimistic but I am admittedly getting excited. If the gameplay aspects they have added work properly this game has the potential to be amazing. Factor in the Head Coach guys building franchise this year (which is the most important part of the game to me) and its hard not to get a little excited.

Really hope EA doesn't let us down again.

This is definitely the best news so far. The QB play and passing game in general have been in need of a bit of an overhaul. With all the new ratings that have been added over the past few years it's about damn time that we got some new QB ratings. Hopefully this leads to some better differentiation between the stars and scrubs. I'm glad that this won't be the last we hear of passing game improvements either.

i dont like this move to more in depth ratings. i can see teh benefits as far as not having jason campbell play like peyton manning, but it could take the user out of the loop. i agree that brady should be more accurate than a guy like grossman, but just becuase theteam you are using is rated high shouldnt mean you have teh upper hand. i would love to see the game go more towards how it was on madden 07-08 (ps2). the rating made a difference due to teh vision cone, but stick skills were a huge part of being successful.

I don't know if it's the same for Madden, since the last few installments got maybe a week of playing time from me, but for me one of the biggest things I'd like to see in NCAA is the ability to throw the deep ball without getting picked off 99% of the time. I'm assuming it's the same in Madden.

Hopefully, this new ratings sytem will allow receivers to break away from corners better, and allow for deep balls.

I'm pumped about Madden 2010, and I've been screwed the last few years right along with the rest of you. Now, until I read about improved CPU AI, and improved defensive play, I won't be completely sold.

                        Great start, though.

great to c this. im glad to kno that the head coach team is a part of madden they did great on head coach. im still playin that lol. but now can the defense get some stuff fixed? like im sick of guys being able to just run around w a crappy safety(roy williams) and run in one direction and i throw to a reciever 8-10 yds behind him and he can just jump like 40 feet in the air or instantly change direction and pick it off. i kno some safeties can but roy williams and all the lb's?????? cmon ea that gets old and annoying. id also like to c a takle radius of some sort. it seems that if u get within 5yds of a guy ur pretty much tackled. freakin dt's should ever be able to chase and dive like 3-5 yds on a rb or wr! guy like ray lewis and dawkins will have a high radius while guys like any broncos lb lol or will demps and all dt's will have a low one. just an idea
                          EAGLES!!!! 13-3 :pepsi:

                            This is so weird.

Back on Maddenlist, and maybe even here if someone looks it up or something.

Someone asked what they would like to see in Madden 2010...

                            I responded with...

                            QB Playaction Attribute.
QB Throwing on the Run Attribute.
                            QB Deep Ball Attribute.
                            Different QB Releases.

Yeah.. well... my dreams came true.

Wow this article alone has gotten me excited for Madden, I just want to crush a QB and have the ball go flapping into my LBs hands and have him run it back for a TD...

                              PLEASE BE IN NCAA ALSO!

It would be even better if the QB had to set his feet to throw.
So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.
