this year was little different......people were talking about how much they loved playing this years version.
then when people noticed that AP setting was turning out to be BS and simply the dumb AI.........it just died immediately.

at least in years past, there werent many active to begin with and it slowly died.

Madden is an ok game.

NHL is a great game.

Forza 4 is a great game

NBA2k12 is a great game.

If given the choice between a good or great game, most opt for great. NBA2k12 and Forza are taking up most of my gaming time right now. I haven't played one all-Madden game online this year, thanks to the community room. I am open to trying an all-Madden game vs. an online vet just for the hell of it ... mostly to see if the differences are real.
Madden online is as good as it's ever been next-gen, but again, it has so much competition for gaming time.

CPU is really great
BUT
League Ass is also just as good, maybe even better.

Random online games are the worst. much worse than random online Madden "play now" option.......

although - i do hear that some people are having network errors and some lag. i honestly think due to what people might be running in the background, wired and wireless (laptops, iPhones, etc....)

Madden is the same shit every year with a couple of new features added...hmmm....

Madden 11 + tackling +updated rosters+ new pregame= Madden 12 ... Madden is getting old to me. The only thing thats keeping me playing are the lgs!
