[FOOT] Battlefield 3 Thread

I hate to say it but...I told you so.

I played yesterday afternoon for a few matches but Uncharted kept compelling me to come back to it. I saw that a few people were playing campaign and Helicopter was playing MP but he was ignoring my messages.

Like Swarley said, this will be my MP game of choice for months and months to come. But I still need to play Batman at the very least, not to mention about a million games in my backlog. But I'll always come back to this game to shoot people in the face with my VSD brethren.

stop fucking whining and add all the people in the platoon you retard... we have at least 10 on during peak hours and i always have at least 3 people on at any given time... shit, the PS3 fags were already bitching about this tuesday b/c UC3 came out, and that will only compound when MW3 drops... i swear, VSNers are getting more and more retarded and just want to bitch about anything...

But that's just it. Months and months from now there will still be a solid core of guys, around six to eight, that will still be playing this game consistenlty. Mark my words. It was the same way with Bad Company 2. The same core PS3 guys were playing that game consistently up until about a month ago. The only person that you could ever find playing it on 360 was Brnt. And I guarantee you if Brnt could afford a PS3 he would've been right there with us.

Plus it seems 360 guys are much more skewed to CoD so when that game comes out in a few days this game will be a forgotten memory to most of those guys. Whereas the PS3 guys here will play CoD hardcore for a few weeks and then come back to playing Bf3 for months and months.

I prefer FPS's on 360 but the fact of the matter is that the PS3 community with most of those games is far stronger than on 360 on this site. Playing with people I know far outweighs a better controller and a slightly better online service to me when it comes to games like this. Although the servers have actually fared slightly better on PS3 with this game so far for some reason. So if you're butt hurt about it then boo-fucking-hoo.

i could give a shit less about bc2, we had a core group of about 12 guys playing blops well into july... where as 90% of the FOOT clan stopped playing after two weeks... the only game where the ps3 community is wholly stronger is Madden, and thats only b/c of KG... you guys had a drop off b/c of UC3 and even more will drop after MW3... like i said, there are a few of you that do stay loyal to this game, but you guys suck at the game anyways, so its like playing with functioning retards...

im just tired of VSNers bitching and moaning when "no one is on" b/c its 3 AM, even though its been repeated a million times in the thread that most of us play at a certain time... fucking idiots...

in your opinion, it does, i thought BC2 was terrible, but BF3 is solid... anyways, the FOOT guys that quit on blops didnt go back to BC2, they just stopped playing, lol... the only guys i saw playing bc2 consistently were the same 5 people (where as we had 12 on blops in July)... but you can claim that as a victory if you want... :smug2:

Also when the FOOT guys quit playing Blops, only 5% of them went back to BC2, the rest just stopped playing FPS, so that's a moot point... BC2 was hot garbage, which is why we had double/triple the members playing Blops on 360, compared to the same 5 guys you had on BC2...
