Are most Kmart stores shitholes? Yup. But the guy that is running their gaming/electronics division is working his balls off to change that and also change that perception. He's been offering amazing deals the last year or so to try to get people back into the stores. He's had completely open communications with his customers so that when someone tells him about a shitty experience he does everything he can to resolve the issue.
He's one of the most approachable community guys I've ever seen. You can send him a message on Twitter and he most often respons within 15 minutes.

in my area we have all the retailers. most are about 15 mins away where the mall is. But kmart is less than 5 mins away. plus there is hardly anyone there. So i would gladly choose that over the drive to the over crowded mall and the hillbilly infested walmart. i wont even go in there unless its a must

Agreed. The two that I've been to recently have done a good job cleaning things up recently. You can see the emphasis they have put on that section of the store, both in having an employee back there 100% of the time, and actually organizing things so it looks nice. That's key for anyone looking to buy anything, much less video games. And they have been offering $20 off next purchase with some new releases as well- I got one with New Vegas.

Used only. Gamestop's B2G1 sales are always on used games.

Huge shocker that the Amazon Gold Box deals today are only for shitty Wii games and peripherals. There was a guy on CAG that said the games Gold Box deals haven't been good in years and I think I would agree.

In their defense they do still have some of the best deals (especially on the net) for games (and other items as well) that I've seen...you just have to search for them...or keep tuned in to this thread hehe.

LOL. Yeah, most of these deals are just copy and pasted from CAG anyway. The guys on that sute are no joke. I swear they camp out on.sites and just hit refresh looking for deals.
