So, knowing my taste in games, is Alpha Protocol worth $15? I've heard the shooting is dreadful.

It's a 3rd Person Shooter that requires you to put points into weapon skills in order for you to kill dudes.

Said dudes scale to your level (allegedly) and a LOT of people felt "tricked" when they realized that the same headshots they were making in the beginning of the game were having little effect late game.

That being said, the dialogue is what makes the game great if you can get into it.

Like the choice wheel in Mass Effect but it's timed so you gotta be quick about how you react to people.

I just pre-ordered Gears 3 and Dead Island.

I did the Bestbuy deal....preorder 5 and get a $100 in rewards points. Seems like a decent deal. Plus ordering with my BB MC and Silver membership I get 2.5X points. Bestbuy IMO is the place to buy new games.

I imagine Kmart is great also but I dont have any near me.

$48 seems to be the norm at all the big online retailers as of now. When they go on sale they drop under $40.....just keep checking amazon/buy/newegg/walmart.

Apparently next week there will be a 2K sale. In it they will have Borderlands Complete (the full game and ALL DLC) for $14.99. For you idiots that missed out on the GotY Edition at Gamestop a few months ago, get that shit!
