Can't wait. Hoping for San Andreas again but a "current" San Andreas. Or I would take another run at a Vice City era'd game.

Lot's of rumors about the main character. Hoping the one about him being a her is completely false...
I've heard rumors of the game having you control multiple characters throughout, not just one. That would probably be pretty interesting.

I don't really mind that. Maybe 2 or 3 main characters. Just need a good enough story for the ones you control to latch onto them.

Spitballing moment: Control 2 guys (good guy/bad guy) and at the end you get to choose who to control to beat the game. Sets itself up for multiple endings plus you could kill the character you didn't like.

They did that in the first Getaway on PS2. I know that game was panned my reviewers but I really liked it. Playing from both sides of the law was awesome and it was really cool seeing the aftermath of the crimes you committed as a gangster when you got to play as the cop.

I think the last GTA had a very minor diversion towards the end of the story. You could choose to kill or have one of the 2 main guys live and the ending was different. Can't remember exactly.

I did 2 game saves and played both endings out

There was just no personality to that guy. Halfway thru GTA 4 I wanted the "mute" from Liberty City back.

And the fact that you had to deal with him for 20+ hours without him being able to customize your car was ridiculous
