I draw 3-4 walks a game

i usually get about 2-5 per game. depends on the pitcher and my level of patients.

I almost always try my best not to swing at the first pitch. Sometimes you can tell when they are pitching around you too.

In RTTS I think I've drawn about 7 walks in two seasons. If I'm playing online I'll get 3-5. I used to get zero, but I've learned to wait out good pitches.

u might want to lower the pitch strike frequency in chise mode. i put it to 3 because the cpu will pound the K Zone otherwise. probably why u dont get many walks

Just lost 9-7 to the Blue Jays. Hellickson had an awful night allowing 8 runs over 5 innings of work.

Right now, I have Fuld, Farnsworth and Lobaton on the DL. All of them are on the 60-day DL. I get word after the game that Molina suffered a "shoulder separation" and will be out "2-3 months."

Lobaton would have been the logical choice here, but, since he is out - I went with Chris Gimenez. Called him up from Durham over Robinson Chirinos. Both are right-handed bats, but, Gimenez has better splits, more runs created and a better secondary average. I take that stuff into account because of my sim schedule (I play 1 and sim 5).
