There is one minor thing I wish the show would do that is probably easy to do.

Once the pitchers is locked and about to pitch, the stats and graphic presentation disappear for pitcher and batter disappear.

It would be nice if they just left the hitters name, maybe bare bones stats, in the bottom left or right of the screen maybe even the pitcher too, and some small vareity of stats up.

It wouldn't be in the way, and it would just be a nice small visual reminder. If you have fast play on you barely see anything. It would be cool to at least have those small stats during the pitch. Again I don't think it would be in the way visually.

yeah, and when your in the middle of a wind up to not have the ad behind the plate scroll. idk why it always has to change while your in the middle of a pitch

I cranked up pitch speed to 10 recently.

As counter intuitive as that may seem, it actually helps me read pitches better. The breaks tend to be quicker and sharper and it forces you to make quicker decisions.

I originally had it at default, and at 1 down from default, but I found that I was very early on everything, including fastballs, and that I have way too much time to sit back. Not realistic enough for me.

Replaced every real MLB player with a fake player. Basically like playing the game with no MLBPA license.

Currently working on a roster where I'm randomly replacing all the top Triple-A players with VSD'ers. Then I'm playing a random Saturday game each week and keeping track of the VSD'ers careers.

Anyone want to help me with updating the list to make players that should be A prospects so I can start editing these up while we wait for the 3rd installment of the OS Rosters.

I would think Alex Meyer on the Nationals should be one.

Orioles Jonathon Schoop should be moved to a team that needs an A prospect as well.

You've mentioned this before, what is your obsession with getting every team an A prospect? Not all farm systems are created equal.

I didn't say I was giving every team an A potential player. I said I was getting every player that deserved an A potential the rating. So the farm systems are in fact not equal like some of these potentials show.

Well that makes more sense. I see they still went a little heavy on the As, but you almost have to given the games progression system.

I dropped another game tonight against the Angels. Matt Moore was cruising along until the 6th inning. The Angels bats' woke up and crushed Moore. I couldn't get the 'pen up and going fast enough. Ended up losing 7-2 and my only runs were off of 2 Evan Longoria HR's. I always seem to have one big inning I let up to the CPU as of late. It's starting to piss me off.

Injuries have fucked me big time too. I have no, legitimate, LH bat coming off the bench since Fuld is out and my catching situation sucks dick. IDK if there is a hidden rating for catchers in this game (i.e. calling a game, pitcher confidence, etc.), but, my pitching has suffered since Molina went down with the separated shoulder.

Lineup I used:

1. brignac, ss
2. upton, cf
3. longoria, 3b
4. pena, 1b
5. scott, dh
6. joyce, rf
7. jennings, lf
8. vogt, c
9. zobrist, 2b

Jennings and Upton's bats are dead. Absolutely no production out of them thus far. Zobrist was dropped to #9 because he has been struggling too. Surprisingly, Brignac is handling the bat pretty well. He leads the team in OBP and AVG. Seems Longoria is either hitting a double, homerun or he is lining out. I have to find a way to get more offense going though. Any tips to help? Seems like everytime I make solid, or good, contact, there is a fielder right there to snatch it up.

i started my 30 team franchise with the indians. i forgot how to set it up. im glad i found the info from last years thread on how to setup 30 team chise. i used the 25 man OS roster which still needed every team to be adjusted. Even though the lineups and rotations stick after ST, you then have to go through and move the 15 other guys on to the 40 man roster....thats easier than changing all the lineups though

if you want to do 30 team control just make 2 profiles. Profile 1 is for your specific team and everything is set to manual. Profile 2 is for the other teams and everything is set to auto

doing 30 team simply allows u to reject unreal trades and make lineup/rotation/roster edits as you feel are needed.

i plan to roll a 162 game season like i did in 2010. i got time since they kicked me out of the sombrero league before it even started. the only champ in the history of that league and i get kicked out. fear the maynard or some shit
