i bought it for that same reason 3 or 4 years ago. i dont regret it at all. Keep in mind that when i did it i paid a total of $500 back then for the console, game, and a few extras.

as a media center, the ps3 blows away the 360. i use my ps3 WAY WAY more than the 360 because of its media ease. It does the same things as the 360, but it does it alot better imo

for gaming, i only use it for exclusives...and its got some good ones besides the show

If you were to buy a PS3 for any game, this would be the one. Gran Turismo 5 another if you're into racing.

Finally have some free time after a very hectic last week. Cant wait till work is over so I can make some progress in my Rays franchise. I can only hope my timing and batters eye isn't effected from so many days off lol.

Just threw a CG gem with Hellickson. Hellickson was absolutely on-point with his pitches allowing just 3 hits in a CG shutout win over the Royals. Longo provided the offense with a 3-run HR in the 6th inning to put us up 4-0. It is nice having him back from injury. He has such a sweet swing and can just crush the ball in this game.

Hellickson's stat line: 9.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K's, 103 pitches

Holy fuck. Have you guys played against a RFB pitcher since the most recent update? Anyone who throws a RFB is now throwing a Gyroball. It's insane. I just did a PLAY NOW! against someone using Verlander. He was throwing 97-101mph gyroballs - which is like a slider, but flatter (maybe a little rise sometimes). Insane pitch. Speed of a fastball but it breaks across half or all of the plate.
