With the playoffs around the corner, I started my RTTS for this years verison. Last year, I created a 2B/SS Billy Jean...drafted by Orioles organization, played for SD Padres for several years before getting traded to Milwaukee Brewers. I ended up signing a 10yr/$148M deal with the Brewers....because of the glitch, they were the only team to offer a contract for the 2019 season. This year, I created a 3B/1B Omar Lockwood...drafted by KC organization. I'm struggling 20 games into the AA season...hitting sub .200.

RTTS UPDATE:
Omar Lockwood batting has gotten better the last 15 games (listed as Hot Player), the Royals took the opportunity to get established MLB players from the Nationals. When traded, he was going to the bench but luckily for him before his first game, the guy above him in the depth charts got sent to AAA.

RTTS UPDATE:
Omar Lockwood is still in AA Harrisburg Senators in early June. Was told he had the stats but there wasn't room for him available in AAA.
Lockwoods first game at 1B
His updated shoes....the team's color 1 is red, so I just put red in the picture to show off final look
His new glove; TC1 = Red & TC2 = Navy Blue
Lockwood showing off his new accessories
Lockwood's new facial look...I thought he looked to old for being 18
Lockwood's new look
Personally, he looks younger to me (what I was going for)

RTTS UPDATE:
Finished the 2012 season on a downslide, my stats included 109 games, 442 AB, .251 Avg, 11 HR, and 54 RBI for AA. The Yankees got hit the hardest with retirees...incl. Jeter, A-Rod, & Rivera, I have to check out who they have started at those positions. I started the 2013 hitting over .400, 3 HR, 9 RBI in the first 6 games; they finally called me up to AAA Syracuse Chiefs. Hoping to make it to The Show by the end of the year.
His 1st game in AAA was at 1B, I didn't have time to change my glove (lol).
EDIT: Got sent back down after hitting .238 with 2 RBI in 17 AB. This year, it seems I'm having a harder time at going up to AAA. I'm already half way through the 2nd year in AA and hit a wall. I'm a free swinger but more since hitting a wall and hitting only .298 (too low for my ratings in AA). It's to the point that I'm getting frustrated...lol.Comment

RTTS UPDATE:
My RTTS guy this year is having a hard time just making it in AAA. He's 20 years old now and starting the 2014 for the 3rd time in AA Harrisburg Senators (Nationals AA team). I went in a month and half run drought at the end of year in AAA and allowed the guy under me to surpass me for next years starting job. In last years edition, my guy (2B Billy Jean) was starting Opening Day for the Padres in his 3rd season in the organization. Hoping this is the year, he gets to The Show and makes a splash.Comment

it took me 8 years in the minors before I made it to the show full time in this years version. I'd get called up due to injury or september call up, but i'd always get sent back down. I liked that I wasn't called all the way up in the first year like years past, but at the same time it was a bit frustrating to. I also got traded like 5 times in those 8 years so that might have had something to do with it.Comment

RTTS UPDATE:
My contract got picked up by the A's after my AAA season was over. I got invited to 2015 Spring Training but I'm coming off the bench right now. In 3 games, I've had 3 AB with 2 hits. I'm hoping to stay in The Show for Opening Day, even if it's on the bench.
Fixed the yellow on the shoes the following game.
updated look....

Decided to move my guy (Omar Lockwood) to the Vita once MLB 13 The Show comes out. I think I'm going to wait a month after release before I even think of picking up the '13 Vita version....it should be on sale by that time.Comment

RTTS UPDATE:
Had a horrible 2015 season in Oakland. I got hurt 2x during the season, the first time I was put on the 60 day DL and the next time I only missed 1 game. I was able to stay in the league, the whole year despite having the following stats....152 AB / 25 H (.164), 5 HR, 16 RBI. We missed the playoffs and was put on outright waivers (I wonder if a team ever picks up a RTTS through waiver). After no team claimed me, the A's sent me back to AA Midland Rockhounds and what was worse was that I was sent to the bench. Right now I'm killing it, hitting almost .400, with 7 HR, and 22 RBI. I passed 3 goals and am now starting 3B for the team. I'm one of the higher paid players in the organization (3yrs/7.2M) and busing to games.
I'm hoping to make it back to the BIGS by mid June but the guy starting for the A's at 3rd is having a good early season. Something else that is funny is that the 3B on the bench, while I was in The Show was also sent to AA with me. During my time in AA, I'm focusing only on my Discipline (after I accomplish the 2 attribute goals). I'm thinking when I get to AAA, I will switch to increasing only Durability.Comment

RTTS UPDATE:
Still playing '12 till '13 gets OSFM roster (haven't received the game from Amazon). I'm about to start the 2019 season and I'm the starting 3B. I was sent sent back to AAA in the middle of the year ('18) and made it back to the Pros with a month left in the season. I resigned a 1yr/1.5M deal; I have 2 years of MLB experience and just finished a 3yr/4.2M contract. The team decided not to resign 2 of the 3B that were right underneath me; 1 went to the Reds and the other went to LAD...both are starting MLB 3B.
3B Omar Lockwood #33
