also someone explain the classes please. So as a engineer i can only use the shotty? And the medic only 2 guns? How can i use a engineer with a rifle? Also how do i use badges?

yes. the no class guy (infantry) can use any weapon, but you get no class perks.

engineer can use a rifle.....by picking one up off the ground.

badges are earned by ranking up or acquiring ribbons. once you have them, they are 'active'.
