That exact same thing has happened to me many times. If not that, then they say they have a game but it turns out to be last years version and just a stupid employee who doesn't know the difference between 08 and 09.

That stuff happens at like walmart a lot. I called and asked if they had NBA 2k9 they said yes. So I go to buy it and I ask for it and they give me NBA live and I tell them that I wanted 2k9 and they said isnt it the same game then they said they only had NBA Live. I havent come upon this at a gamestop yet but many other stores it has happened.

I hope this game is more 2k7 than 2k8. 2k7 was great, and was actually close to being as good as the show, then 2k8 happened.
