If you guys played XBOX Live, you'd pay 50 dollars a year just to get their servers. I have both, and PSN servers are so shitty. There's no lag on Xbox Live unless it's your connection.

99% of the time its the Host Connection i have never run into a laggy game ells iam downloading a torrent and that will make you have a laggy game -
Assuming you don't have a 360 or Xbox Live. I'm not talking about the lag that makes your screen go "what the fuck!?!?!". I'm talking about the steady minimal lag that's always going on.Comment

Xbox live>psn online( i only own ps3 now)
Xbox live is worth every cent you pay for it.I personally like the headset you get with your xbox better then the bluetooth.Xbox 360 controller is better then the ps3 controller.
Only reason I own PS3 is because of Socom,The Show,Killzone 2.Free online and Wi-Fi.And did I say SOCOM and THE SHOW!Comment

But you can't. GET BENT. lulz.
in all seriousness, I really don't play ps3 online as much as I would so the 50 bucks would probably go to waste. I dunno. Console gaming hasn't caught on just yet for me. I leave that for pc gaming.
but yeah, I would hope something you pay for is better than something that is free.
although, the only game that had a sense of lag to it was in fact NBA2k8.
battlefield bad company, little big planet and other games never lagged for me at all.

Spoken like someone whos never played Gears of War.
Please correct me if im wrong but Lag on either network is heavily dependent on how the game was developed and hosts connection. Which is why I can play Halo for hours without issue and Gears for 20 minutes and experience a lag fest. Shitty netcoding by developer.
I dont think either ((xbl/psn))have dedicated servers , theres always a user host to a game so if your experiencing lag its likely not the service itself.Best reason to have a license.
