for those who remember, back in Madden list we did a tournament for NCAA 09.

I, as well as some guys like Champ, KnightsKnoles (I think... if that's bossmyshiiup), Hartdaddy (see just about any Ohio St. Highlight), Rush (Check out rush's qb skills with Illinois against Penn St. multiple times in the video! :smug2, and TailbackU. another that comes from the top of my head is Charger, I think Jmiest is in there as well.

I remember there being no defense in 09.

most of those highlights were within the first 2-3 weeks of the game coming out iirc - people were probably still trying to figure out how to play.
