“We’re definitely looking at more than 12 hours, maybe 12 to 16 right now is what we’re looking at,” explains Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer in a video interview. “It really depends on how you play. You can play a little bit slower if you try to approach situations stealthy, if you really wanna explore the environment and scavenge, that’s going to add more time too.”

The more I think about this the more concerned I am. Sure, the diehard Naughty Dog fans already have this game pre-ordered and are getting it regardless. But Average Joe Gamer is going to be so enamored with the new console reveals that week that he's going to forget all about this game.

The Last of Us TV Spot on The Walking Dead Season Finale

We are now just three months away from the release of Naughty Dog’s newest franchise, The Last of Us. The team is working extremely hard on putting the finishing touches to the game. It’s exciting to see all the different aspects of the game finally come together into the vision we’ve had in mind all along. Joel and Ellie’s journey is turning out to be something truly special that we can’t wait to share with our fans.

With the June 14th release of the game rapidly approaching, we’re excited to announce that the first official television spot for The Last of Us will air on the season finale of AMC’s The Walking Dead this Sunday, March 31st at 9:00pm Pacific Time and Eastern Time.
