When you're playing your game, go to the start menu, click save game, then scroll over your existing file and it'll tell you that stuff.

Honestly, I don't think it's getting carried away at all. Superb game that plays like a motion picture that would be in the 90's on RT.

Im talking about this being the best story of any entertainment out there and it being so much better than Red Dead. That game is amazing and has a top notch storyline as well. I like the Last of Us more as well, but let not overreact too much lol

RDR's story line was not very good at all. It's the typical Rockstar 'bad guy trying to leave life of crime but ends up murdering thousands of people to do that'. I did think how it ended was very good though. But I think you're overreacting more saying that game had anything remotely close to a good story.

Yeah...RDR is a fantastic game overall, but I've argued this forever. It's story can be summed up as "I'm John Marston: if you're the seediest person ever, I'll trust you even though your worthless to me, and you'll likely fail me. In the meantime, I'll talk about how I'm a changed man and tired of all this killing...while performing mass genocide."

The Last of Us shouldn't even be discussed in comparison, because there is none.

I just finished up "Summer" last night. 61%. Spoiler for the end of the that segment (if you aren't in Fall, don't read):

 

I saw Henry and Sam's deaths and how they happened coming from a mile away, but it was set up so well it was such a gut punch. When Henry blew his head off? Yeesh. What a depressing way to go to bed Sunday night.

took me just about 19:30 to finish my hard playthrough

great game, like others have said the ending was a bit offputting, but it fit into the whole archetype of the character and the relationship that is formed so it was acceptable to me. Now onto MP

Minor Spring Spoiler

 

That was one of my absolute favorite moments I've had in any game. That's one of the first times ever I've actually stopped playing and just watched the scenery. You could see and hear how excited Ellie was. I actually felt bad for going forward because I knew what would lie ahead. This scene right here is the perfect example of why this game is on a whole different level.

i actually did not see that coming so soon in the game. i was hoping to see Ellie and Sam become much better friends and then maybe seeing that much later in the game.
But
the suprises keep coming;

and its better that way.
since storyline keeps me "intimate" with the game......

Honestly for those that haven't had the opportunity to play it in a great sound system or (preferably) a good pair of headphones like the Turtle Beach's, you're missing out.
I've jumped like a little girl a few times thus far (fuck a Clicker). Shit gets intense when you can hear every little thing.
