Ok, so I haven't seen anyone mention this and I was just talking to Swarley about it and he said it went right over his head.

      In reference to Bill,

he's gay, right? From the classic Seinfeld episode "Not that there's anything wrong with that..." but it hit me hours after I played through the section where they find the truck and and the guy Frank hanging in the house. Bill initially describes the guy Frank as his "partner" and really accentuates that word when he says it. At first I just assumed he was talking about this guy as hi partner in survival as they were the only two people living in that town. But the way he said that and coupled with the following scene with Ellie and the male porn mag (which was hilarious by the way) made me realize he had to be gay. Or, at least the apocalypse turned him to an alternate lifestyle, similar to prison I guess. You have to get it somehow, right? Again, not that there's anything wrong with that but I found it interesting and it didn't seem like anyone else mentioned it. It may have been in someone's spoiler but I haven't clicked on those because I seem to be way behind most people.

I suspected it shortly after the initial statement. Was confirmed for me after finding the letter in the house. Magazine was obviously just to really drive the point home.

I thought that was pretty straight forward with that assumption.

Yeah, definitely went over my head lol and the thought never even crossed my mind. But now that someone's pointed it out and I look back at the scenes with him, it makes a lot of sense. There was definitely something there b/c it seems hard for him to talk about initially when he mentions that he lost someone and that caring for someone only leads to you getting killed. Then the note that the guy left, that's something that spells it out now that I see it. That coupled with the porno mag of dudes (lol Ellie).

Yeah, the note too. Although I guess I'd have to read that again because I don't remember it saying too much besides the fact that he hated him and Bill was scared to venture out further into the town. I didn't think there was anything too telling about that.

It's a combination of the initial reaction and then just how much hatred was in the letter.

                Sidenote: Bill is pretty awesome.

And in regards to predictable combat situations, like in Infinite, I originally thought so too. But at least now, it;'s not so predictable. I'm working my way through the second part of the hotel and there are bricks and bottles everywhere...but not a single enemy.

                        Wow, just hit the Fall.

So there are other kids, and they even reference what probably happened to the rest of them even before you run into Sam and Henry. Speaking of them, so sad. Those cut scenes were .

Just finished the game. Epic is all I can say. I'm not normally into survival horror games but this game kept me completely tuned it throughout. Naughty Dog is just on a completely different level like others have said

The unfortunate thing is most of them nowadays aren't done right.

I was big into Resident Evil on the first Playstation but I was one of the few that got a Dreamcast on launch day for Code Veronica and was disappointed. I don't think I've played a resident evil since other then the first few chapters of RE5.

1337LoungeLive is streaming the game from the beginning on Twitch.

                                http://www.twitch.tv/team/1337loungelive

They've got Ricky Cambier, designer on the game from Naughty Dog, Jon Heder AKA Napoleon Dynamite and Derek Mears AKA the guy who played Jason in the Friday the 13th reboot on tap.

Pretty interesting seeing an entire room lose their shit over the early game...
