Personally I didn't find it to be repetitive at all...at least, not any more repetitive than anything else out right now (for example, Skyrim is pretty repetitive at times when you get right down to it). And the combat was just so fucking perfect, and while I personally liked Arkham Asylum a little bit better overall for aesthetic reasons, I thought that gliding and grappling around AC was practically flawless.
End of the day though: I felt like fucking Batman and that was awesome. I thought that Skyrim would beat it and Portal when I first started it, but Skyrim for all of its density really started to just lose me when I realized that I was a God and it was basically just a loot gathering exercise.
