Just saw this thread on OS and it looks like he has a good amount of rosters already done. Was just wondering if anyone has already tried this or plans to? I'll probably buy a ps3 in a few weeks and then I definitely plan to try these out. I'm a sucker for historic rosters so I was siked when I saw this.

Thats what the guy who made it says his ultimate goal is. He has 6 teams done, only 22 more to go.

It might be a little difficult though seeing as there were only 28 teams in the NFL then. I'd imagine you'd have to make all the players on the other 4 teams all 0's and keep resigning them but even then you'd have automatic schedule wins. It'd be like A Y2R franchise.

A sim league would also be amazing if anyone would be up to the challenge once these are complete.

IIRC, there is an issue with these rosters. Apparently, the file doesn't work when shared.

Just fyi, the profile follows the same idiotic rules as franchise saves - you'll get a "this file was created by another user" error message and be unable to load.

Well his last post releasing the next two teams he just put out at 4:51 today so hopefully you're wrong.

If anyone here feels like trying it out and telling us if they work and if so how they play it would be much appreciated. Trying these will be the first thing I'll try once I get another ps3.

Perfect way to kill months over the spring and summer along with The Show


Wish Madden would allow you to edit draft classes like NBA 2k12. Could you imagine doing these throwback rosters then being able to have pretty realistic or semi realistic draft classes from back then?
