I always laugh at the idiots who camp out and shit to get the new systems when they drop. Big time no no, as the initial generation of consoles ALWAYS are buggy as fuck.

To get one for yourself? Definitely stupid. Camping out to get one to sell on eBay for a 300% profit? Understandable.

I play Skyrim on a 106" screen at 720p. I wouldn't trade that for anything on a sub 32" screen, I don't care how clear it is.

Because of the angle and distance of the camera... well, just trust me.. its bigger than it looks. The screen is about 9 feet wide

btw, you can get a 1080p projector for just under $900 but I can't see a difference between mine on the 106" screen and my consoles on my 1080p 56" TV.

I remember trying to get the screen up my stairs (because it makes a 180 at the top). I was laughing at how long the screen was. I could barely make that turn.

It was one of those "I didn't even think of that' moments.

I almost got a 1080P projector for my living room but I ran into the issue of having massive windows and I had to spend stupid amounts of money to get black out curtains that weren't shit.

I'm just waiting till I buy a new house with a proper basement because projector systems when done right are pretty cool and relatively cheap.

I can see where that would be an issue in a main room. I have a 4 bedroom house and have this room just for gaming and movies. I have a thick brown blanket over the windows (on a curtain rod). Very little light gets in during the day . I rarely play games during the day anyway but its nice for when I do.

Everything should run 1080p at 60 fps, all consoles should come with SSDs, everything should be able to to be bought digitally, and all saves should have the option to live in the cloud. Thats all I can think of....it is not my specialty.

This is GTA 4 using a mod, running with the highest end PC tech available. Basically, this is similar to what next-gen consoles will look like, in REAL-TIME, not just cutscenes.

It's been better compared to the rest of this generation's Madden games, but no where near the previous one. They started out slow, and have made quite an improvement since, but it's still behind where it really should be. They dropped the ball hard.

Strictly from a game play standpoint Madden 10,11 and 12 is much better than last gen. I cant speak on offline franchise and other game modes since I only play online but the game is much more realistic than it was on Ps2/Xbox. The shit you were able to get away with in last gen was insane. Is the game perfect? Far from it but they have made some strides towards being much more realistic.

yeah, anyone who disagrees with that is hating for the sake of hating at this point.

10 was a balanced game with some crappy issues (sideline catching mostly)
11 fixed that but made the defense a bit too gimpy to keep up in my opinion
12 brought back strong D, but they need to tone down the ability to create turnovers and big plays some more and they'll find the pinnacle of this generation.

do that and madden in it's current engine really can't get any better.

still would like an entirely new game though, we've been playing the same engine for too long and it shows with long time players.
