It's basically playing an interactive movie.

Only there are times where the movie doesn't tell you where to go and will instantly kill you and your friends without hesitation.

Also, the camera is shit and... unless you plan on playing someone for shits and giggles, this game is HORRIBLY dry with the dialogue.

Boring in-between mini-boss fights is no way to go for a game.

Just finished chapter 2, which was long as fuck by the way. Almost two and a half hours.

I'm enjoying the game. It plays just like RE5 but with much better controls. Th story is of course typical RE Japanese nonsensical craziness. But the action and shooting are solid, boss battles are interesting (shoot it in the core!) and playing with a co-op buddy brings the lulz.

It's definitely exceeding my expectations (which I will be honest that they were very low) so far and absolutely worth $20 at this point.

If you liked RE5 then I can't see how you wouldn't like this game. It takes everything RE5 did well (assuming you liked the more action oriented changes they made) and severely upgraded the controls and shooting mechanics. The online and voice chat seem to be flawless as well (unlike some games...looking at you FC3!). There is no way this game is a 3 or 4 out of 10 like some outlets gave it, or how Med just shits on it constantly after playing for two hours. The situation surrounding this game reminds me a lot of MoH Warfighter.

Jay and I have only played for about 5 hrs or so but so far this game is at least a 5.5/6 to me, not a 3 or 4. It's absolutely worth $20-30. Keep in mind that I buy more games than the average person so my price view point may be skewed differently.

Also, I'll let Dizzle speak for himself but I've enjoyed playing the co-op. I especially like all the crazy melee moves you can do in the game. They look like shit straight out of Wrestlemania. There is nothing like being swarmed by zombies to only have Leon power bomb the fuck out of one of them and have Dizzle shout "Oh shit son!"

It's worth $20-$25 tops if you have people to play with.

The Co-Op's dope if you go in not caring about story (I tried to follow along during the first two chapters and my head hurt after I turned the system off).

The Melee finishers are cool enough but I'm a man who prefers his zombies decapitated via the shotgun method.

Still fun to elbow drop some faces apart though

Not only did Jay get to power bomb a spider like enemy that was on the ceiling but this also happened in our latest playthrough tonight...

Two stories down, two to go.

The more Twigg and I play this, the more I feel this needed to be advertised as a co-op experience game.

And I say so with more determination after the last few chapters of the Chris story because there's NO WAY an NPC character can run that gauntlet and face down the boss afterward.

Also of note, it might be wise not to play this game near anything fragile as it might be easy to black out and lose your shit if you fuck up for the millionth time.

You could've got it for $20 at TRU a few weeks ago like I did. This week you can get it for $10 from Best Buy if you buy the new Devil May Cry.

People weren't kidding when they said this game was 30+ hours. When I started up my PS3 a few minutes ago I got my PS+ notification about auto-updates and game saves saved in the cloud. It said my save for RE6 was at 15hrs 38mins and we have only finished two of the four campaign stories.

To be truthful, I think a lot of that 15 hrs and change was wrapped around dying/reloading, searching for emblems to shoot (I saw that we missed one last night when I hopped onto Agent Hunt), figuring out bosses and... cutscene time.

So now Twigg and I have finished Leon, Chris and Jake's story campaigns on co-op.

Allegedly there's a optional co-op with Ada and Generic Agent #1 after DLing the December 2012 patch so...

All I know is, after playing as Sherry for a few hours, all I wanted to do was end the fucking story but it kept going and going and went to Terminator-levels of scene extension.

I'd assume they ran out of ideas and copped the idea from RE3's Nemesis and the last boss fight from RE5 plus more to it to "add suspense" (no boulder punching, sadly)...

Still, as fun as it was to play with Twigg, that shit was arduous.

I know, right. And dying and replaying shouldn't count as it resets the game play clock when you do. We are not up to about 22hrs of game play time. Some of the stuff is corny but more times than not Jay and I are both yelling "Holy shit! Did you see that?!?" Suplexing the final boss of the last campaign we played was pretty fucking awesome. I also love how you really have to play as a team and look out for each other.

I think this might have been the one game where the people I played with (Twigg being the one in this case) where everyone involved were actively healing each other as needed.

I've seen less health being replenished in a 600 ticket match on BF3 compared to the amount of Health "Chiclets" Twigg and I made through Green/Red Herbs and shared.
