Well, now that I realized how leveling up actually works, I'm going to keep going with the Support tree. There seem to be a some good team oriented upgrades there.

Do you mind explaining them to me? I just keep playing and trying to go for some of the challenges but I'm still not sure how to level up the certain trees.



I sent my cousin a text last night telling him that I played a few missions with Shark and went from 24 to 28. Of course he never likes to be one-upped so he texts me back about an hour later telling me that he played the bank twice on solo on Hard and gained two levels each time. I jump back on and play the back ONCE on Hard solo and somehow gained FOUR levels and also got a trophy. LOL. He was pissed because that he couldn't play with us because his daughter started fussing.

Basically, the tree that you have selected when you level up will get the next upgrade in its respective queue. The next upgrade for each tree is listed when you hold down the Select button, and each tree's unlock progressions are listed in the main menu. It also doesn't matter if you change trees halfway between levels. The one that is selected at the time you level up is the one that is upgraded.

For example, if you have Assault selected at the time you level up, you'll unlock the next upgrade listed for the Assault tree.

That's how you go about getting those trophies then. They have ones where you upgrade a certain class while under an assault by the cops. I got one accidentally last night.
