So I was looking for Amped 3 and Shaun White Snowboarding yesterday at Gamestop and I came across this game. It was hidden away and only one copy was left. Brought it home and started it up, I'm pretty impressed so far. I said in the SSX thread that I wanted a game that was similar to the Skate series as far as feel, mechanics and control system. This game is as close as I've seen. Anybody else play this? If you like snowboarding and are looking for a more realistic feel I would def suggest this game.

I definitely do not want more realism in a skateboarding or snowboarding game. The crazier and more over-the-top the better.

I actually skate and snowboard so I like to see a bit more realism... this game is pretty hard tho.

I'm just saying that's my preference. I am thinking about picking up Amped 3 though because I've heard it's pretty awesome.

Amped 3 is the closest mix between realism and arcade play that I've seen and played. It's a fun game that doesn't get too frustrating because of the more arcade like nature of it. Amped 2 was prob my favorite snowboarding game all time tho, it was a way more realistic version and had a lot of stuff to do.

Amped 3 won't make you feel like your playing SSX... but it will be closer to feeling like Tony Hawk then it does to Skate if that's a good comparison.
