Udonis Haslem on NBA Live 09 was my go to guy. I rolled with the Heat and Wade was my leading scorer, but Haslem was always good for 20 pts and 10 rebs a night.

Az Hakim was a beast returner and WR on streak routes. I'd get him for years.
Forget the year, but when Mike Williams (USC) was coming out, I drafted him. Dude was a monster. I think I'd simmed 4 years of draft classes from an imported NCAA roster.
I also had Scandrick - I think in '10. I ran a LOT of Dime CB blitzes, so my #3 and #4 CBs always had a lot of sacks - I think he had 30 one year (yes, I was playing on All-Madden). They'd get huge contracts and sign elsewhere, so I'd just draft fast decent CBs.
Trying to remember who I had on MVP '05. I know my rotation had Jake Peavy and Kerry Wood. I think I had Dustin McGowan at some point - I went through and re-named all of the top 100 guys.UglyChristmasLights.com - Celebrating 10 years with the 2011 collection!Comment

Ron Dixon/Tim Carter/Sinorice Moss WR- killed it on kick returns and I remember one particular play I used to exploit the shit out of as a kid that made my 4th WR (it didnt really matter who) a beast
Jesse Palmer, QB- My favorite thing to do in franchise mode for a while was trade Kerry Collins and pick a QB in the first round of the draft the next season. That means it was Palmer time for one season. Honestly I don't remember if I beasted with him but I may be the only person who willingly used him other than a member of Jesse Palmer's family.
Visante Shiancoe, TE- Before he went to the Vikings, He backed up Jeremy Shockey on the Giants. Redzone champ
Michael Crabtree- Too soon to call him a bust IRL? Well anyway I imported him a few years back and he was a beast, Randy Moss level.
Rodney Williams, P- You know him, he was that dude in Madden who wore a headband in his pic. I remember always cutting my punter and signing him off free agency because of his +90 kick power.Comment

Lol I remember signing him just because he was a black punter.

Made him frustrating as shit to play with sometimes though. He had a good mid range J as well, and there were plenty of times where I'd want to pull up in the elbow range and shoot a jumper and he would just go into a dunking animation starting from the FT line.Comment

Im convinced the madden developers intentionally make sure to have a quality punt returner/3rd reciever in free agency so you can compete with any team.
QBs Kyle Boller, Patrick Ramsey, and Rex Grossman would toss frozen ropes all over the field against me and led to countless "fuck this game" powerdowns. But a special place in my heart will always belong to Mike McMahon. that guy was just an absolute beast in Madden. I would run all over any team I faced. The only parallel I have to his effortless video game domination is Kevin Love this year in 2k12, who gets a 20/15 no matter how awful you are.Comment

Chris Simms, Kyle Boller, Vince Young, David Carr & Micheal Vick always put up MVP numbers in my early 2000s Madden franchises. I'm still rocking Madden 2010, and Tim Tebow is rated 99 ovr im my 'chise.
Ron Dayne was always a beast for me in Madden.Comment
