Obviously movie adaptations of games haven't been so great in the past, but what games do you guys think could be turned into great movies? Put the writers/directors fact aside. Just by story and action, what game/s would you guys think could be made into a movie?
Games that would make good movies

Even games with the best stories would in all likelihood come out as mediocre in the film industry.
I'm guessing popular answers will be Bioshock, Uncharted, and Mass Effect. In order for any of those to be even somewhat of a success they would need a actual, high-quality writer and director, and not many of those would be committed to a adapting a video game.
EDIT: Here is all the reasoning anyone would ever need.Comment

Yes obviously you probably aren't going to get the best directors and writers, which is why I said originally to put that aside. I was looking at this more from a fun point of view of not actually wanting to see these get made (b/c they would more than likely be complete and utter crap), but what gaming stories does everything think are at a movie quality level. And yes, my first two would be Uncharted and Mass Effect.Comment

Alpha Protocol, even as a B-Flick spy movie.
Basic betrayed agent story with international locals (Rome, Moscow, Middle East, Taiwan), fine Bond Girl-esque ladies to ogle, and a role fit for a number of actors to play in.
Hell, the main plot of a Corporation funding/supplying Terrorists to stay in business is a Bond plot if there ever was one.
Bourne if you want to include the Agency betrayal and to be more current.Comment
