Just finished the game. Oh Far Cry 3, you were so amazing. Some things I would have liked for them to do different with the story, but overall, an amazing gaming experience. One of my favorite games of this console generation.

Soooooooo....what ending did everyone pick their first time through?

 

At the time I was given a choice I was thinking "Shit". If I would have known their were alternate endings I would have saved before the final missions began. In any case, I decided to pick Citra. Awarded another sex scene, followed by a dagger to the heart which I really wasn't expecting. Apparently JB is potent as shit and she's guaranteed pregnant or something.

I'll have to reload the closest save to see what the other ending of saving the friends are....or just go look up the Youtube video for it.

I'm surprised to see that you picked this one. I went with the other one. Was an easy choice for me.

 

After turning my back on Citra and the Rakyat, I wasn't expecting Citra to step in front of that blade to save me. That was pretty interesting.

Obvious tip is obvious:

Shoot the explosive barrels first if you can.

It'll save you flamethrower fuel and you can remain focused on sniping the guards without being spotted.

I did that mission the hard way. I was running around with a chicken with it's head cuttoff trying to burn everything while not being shot. I did the mission before I realized the awesomeness of the silent sniper rifle.

I think that Death From Below may actually be better than Death From Above. I had to take an outpost that was on the water. There were two enemies on a pier. I swam out and hit uner the pier and tool both out by pulling them into the water and stabbing g them to death. No one was the wiser. I'm surprised I didn't attract a few sharks with all the blood in the water. ;)
