You aren't buying any guns from the store are you? B/c you shouldn't. Just go around and unlock towers and you'll get all the guns you need for free that way.

Yeah I learned that the hard way, I bought the bow as soon as I could (because I thought hunting animals with a bow sounded awesome) and then the next tower I unlocked it said I could get the bow and sniper rifle for free.

Don't know about you guys but this game is so fucking frustrating. I walk off the smallest fucking ledge and fucking die, I run into a fucking dog and die, I swim in the lake and die, I ambush one car of 2 pirates and all the sudden 5 fucking cars with .50 cals and 20 pirates show up and I die. Maybe I just fucking suck god damnit.

Any tips on surviving walking through the jungle and not getting killed by every living fucking creature? That's the most annoying part about this game, everywhere you walk some animal is trying to kill you. Rarely do I have full ammo cause anywhere I walk I have to waste 2 clips trying to kill every creature that I come across. And any tips for getting money? I never have enough to buy attachments on guns and rarely have enough to get full ammo.

just play the campaign and build up some skills. you want to turn on the towers and take over the enemy posts as a priority. once you liberate those posts the bad guys in the area are gone so you can roam around without getting in a fire fight...i also suggest doing the tasks that allow you to carry more guns and dont buy guns cause u unlock them as u go

I gotta start using those repelling syringes, i just never felt like they were worth it cause it only lasts for 60 seconds or some shit. I'll try that and see how it goes.

A good majority of animals will leave you alone, use a shotgun, one shot kills most animals, or the bow, kill them and walk over them to re-gain your arrow, wont be spending money on ammo if you are picking it back up

Utilize everything that is available to you, especially in the beginning. Collect plants and hunt to upgrade your equipment so that you can carry more ammo, more weapons, etc.

One of the skill trees allows you to extend the time for syringes (the deep water one, animal repellant and Enemy Sensing ones are top notch; the one where you do more damage while hunting is great too for when you hit up the billboard Hunting missions).

The Crane one I think? (whichever one's the bird)

Appreciate the help fellas, did not know that about the bow or shotgun I'm definitely gonna start using those guns more often. Typically I'm rocking the assault rifle and either sniper or lmg and just mow motherfuckers down

Also, every time you open an outpost you'll get those bounty board missions and a lot of them involve hunting rare animals that will unlock upgrades to your equipment.

I spent all of last night unlocking posts. I think I did 2 main story missions and already have 10 towers opened lol. So many free guns . This game is awesome, except for the occasional cheesy lines. "IM COMIN LIZA!!!!!"@!@!@!@!!"

Yeah, some of the dialogue is super cheesy. The repeated dialogue of the enemies gets old quick too.

Ultimate Far Cry Compilation Listed Online

A listing for something called the Ultimate Far Cry Compilation has surfaced online.

The collection appeared on the website of UK retailer GAME, and lists the compilation as being available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

While we have no idea what the bundle contains, it does raise the rather interesting idea that the original Far Cry game may be about to get ported to consoles for the first time. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are currently listed for £39.99, while the PC version costs £29.99. Sadly, the only release information is a vague "TBA 2013".

IGN reached out to Ubisoft for more information about the collection but received a response of "no comment." As soon as any more information does appear, we'll be sure to let you know.
