What Are Your Plans For Franchise/Season Mode?
Hey Guys,
So I figured why not start a little discussion with the recent releases of both MLB games (2k and The Show). Doesn't matter which game you have, I'm just wondering what your guys plans are for your Franchise/Season mode. Who you plan on rolling with? You planning on trading for any particular players? Play Minor League games? Trade/release any big name players? Things like that. I'll start it off.
Later on tonight or by this weekend I plan on starting my Yankees Franchise of The Show (plan on doing a Franchise report so stay tuned for that) and after playing a few exhibition games with the Rangers, I'm very interested in trading for Josh Hamilton. Yea, big name I know, but I like to keep my Franchises pretty realistic for the most part. So even though that may not happen in real life (...yet, haha), if I do try to trade for him, I try to make things as realistic as possible. Obviously I'd give alot up for him, not sure who or what exactly yet. I'm sure Johnny Damon will be in that deal though somewhere (he certainly isn't enough for Hamilton though). As far as the Minor League games are concerned, I really only play them if let's say they make the playoffs, then I'll probably play a game/sim a game. As far as my regular games with the Yanks, I still haven't decided how I'm going to play/sim them. I do plan on playing alot more than simming though, I just have to work out a system that suites my style.
