Jet Set Radio tags XBLA, PSN, PC this summer, Sega holding graffiti contest

Sega's extremely subtle teaser turned out to be for an update of Jet Set Radio after all! Sega is re-releasing the beloved Dreamcast skating/vandalism action-adventure this summer on XBLA, PSN, and PC download -- under the proper name. None of that "grind" nonsense. The in-progress screens show an HD presentation that looks just like the original, but smoother.

Sega hasn't said anything about whether you'll be able to import your own graffiti images as was possible in the Dreamcast version. The publisher is, however, holding a contest to solicit eighteen winning images for inclusion in the game. Prizes include copies of the game, a solar-powered Bluetooth speaker system, and Jet Set Radio hoodies and beverage shakers.

Why do so many threads around here turn into "They should make Japanese RPG X!" No they shouldn't.

And before you JRPG fanboys open your fucking mouths, it wouldn't make any more sense for me to come into this thread and exclain "I wish they would make Max Payne in HD!" It just seems there is an overwhelming amount of people here demanding old ass JRPG' be remade, no matter what the thread.

PowerStone was one of those Fondly remembered Dreamcast Exclusive games, I remember when Sega Announced a Dreamcast Collection was coming to the 360, Jet Grind Radio and Power Stone were the 2 most wanted inclusions; they sadly werent included. Now Since Jet Grind is being Re-released, there's now hope for Power stone.

This a Jet Grind Radio thread, but I get the Power Stone mention.
