So basically, u start off as Haytham Kenway who is a Templar then soon move onto Conner who becomes an Assassin. So pretty much Conner hates his dad?

Just finished sequence 5, think I'm going to call it a night. Still trying to get used to the fact that it's not Ezio. Feels a little strange lol. The setting is pretty awesome though. So how long did it take you guys to figure out how Connor was going to come into the story?

Fucking Templars always gotta be making it personal. Murdering Ezio's father and brother and now...

Unless you plan on playing a bunch of online with 360 peeps I have no idea why you would go 360. Extra missions and connectivity to the Vita version with PS3. And yes I already know you're lame "I couldn't change my pre-order story".

Played till about 12:20am this morning. I didn't start playing till 10:30 though, so I didn't get too far into the game. I stopped off after I intervened and saved the Surgeon. Benjamin is his name I think. I am thinking that Connor is going to be introduced as the son of Haythem? Considering it is 1754 at the start of the game and the revolution is 20+ years later...that is the only way I can see him being introduced in the game.

Gonna be different not playing Ezio like Swarley said. Got home last night, had dinner and then crashed, but I've got about 12 hours today to marathon it.

B/c a $20 reward zone certificate >>>> not getting my preorder copy and going PS3. And what extra connectivity? The only thing the PS3 copy has is the Benedict Arnold missions. These games are long enough have so many things to do that one hour isn't making me to sad. Like I said, I'd rather get my $20 for picking up my preorder than that one more hour of side missions.

EDIT: Just saw something about "weapons and missions." I'm sure they're pretty meh tho.

Got up to Sequence 10 last night after like 11 hours of game time. That is just from doing missions too, I am only like 26% done overall. Only 3 more sequences to go

Buying it on Friday because last year when I bought it I skipped a few days of work to play it. Will probably play it all weekend though.

Man, the tweet I read of Ryan Davis from Giant Bomb about this game being a "slow burn" might be the understatement of the year. I like it, but I find myself almost saying out loud "just hurry up and get moving". The fact that this beginning part seems to be basically a 3+ hour tutorial is not helping.

Really picking up now, finally. I will say this though: thanks Ubisoft, for obviously spending zero time de-fucking the horse controls in this game. Instead, you went in the other direction and put side shit way far apart, with a bunch of wilderness and shit for the horse to get "stuck" on. I was going for some of those Peg Leg Trinkets, but some of them are so far off the beaten path, and the horse's refusal to jump down off even the smallest of ledges is rage inducing.

In the meantime, I'll go through the SP before I start playing MP in earnest. I have a few more videos to put up of ACR that I didn't get a chance to (yes, I'm a dork that does commentaries on YouTube).

I have this game but have no experience with this series. Should I get one and two before playing this? Can get em both off of amazon for under 40 total shipped.
