    [PC] windows 8 beta

im installing this now. anyone with a decent enough pc can install it. just be aware that you would need to do a clean install an upgrade which means u want to make a backup disc...or install it on a VM

i chose to install it on a VM using Virtual Box from Oracle...its free
VirtualBox is a general-purpose full virtualizer for x86 hardware, targeted at server, desktop and embedded use.

wow thats different. 1st thing i noticed is they got rid of the start button. i wouldnt mind the new tiles and side screen menu pop out if it was little easier to get in and out of. to get into the side menu you have to hover over a blank area...at least put an icon or something. Getting out of apps is the biggest pain. no screen minimize or X to exit.

they said it was going to be a mobile friendly design and it is. Also designed with the touch screens in mind. i guess they plan to release a tablet. i understand the need to evolve. but i feel like the desktop OS and mobile OS are 2 different worlds and they are trying to merge them....i can see people not liking this for the desktop
