Huh? The DLC they are releasing is supposed to be two all new campaigns and it's supposed to be FREE. Did something change?

The DLC is going to be free. It's not two NEW campaigns. They're making the two campaigns Dead Air and Death Toll playable in Versus mode. And they are adding a new mode called Survival, where you see how long you can last in a small level against waves of zombies. It's supposed to be very difficult and fast-paced, with most rounds lasting around five minutes.

I don't know what to make of this but I'll take your word for it KTP. The info in these two articles from joystic.com (one of which was the one that was linked over at MM) are very misleading with the wording...
"Two more full campaigns for versus mode."

I'm with you. I loved the game too. It's so much fun. But like you said, I was just disappointed because I thought that they were releasing two all new campaigns. Oh, well. Hopefully Valve does support the game for a while. I do know that Valve is supposedly one of the best game companies as far as customer service goes. There was a DLC article in a gme magazine a few months back and Valve was one of the few companies that said that they wought all DLC should be free because it brings original customers back to a game and it brings in all new customers that have yet to try a game. They said something along the lines of "Why charge someone $10 that has already spent $60 for a game when we can basically make another $60 from someone else when they decide to buy the game because of new released content."

Meh, I think it was well worth the money. I've had a blast with the game. Playing through the campaigns with friends is great fun, and Versus can be awesome with a team of friends working together.

Plus, Valve is gonna support this game for a long time with new content. They're still updating Team Fortress 2! They won't leave L4D crying alone in the corner.

i didnt buy it. just rented for awhile. its fun, but it just got repetitive for me. i dreaded vs mode as the infected....oh man it was just respawn city right there. Alot of people on my FL still playing it though
