before i start my franchise i want to sign fa's to their teams, how do i do this?

Go to manage roster. But I heard it screws up the batting orders and makes it so even if you fix them, they go back to being screwed up.

what did you do for your chise?

you can do it during the season. If you havent started yet, turn cpu roster control on. It doenst screw up the batting orders. I put Manny on the Dodgers after my first game, selected "Auto fix batting order" and the CPU penciled him in the 3 role. Did the same thing with Garret Anderson.

It says if you do that though that the CPU can't make any moves....

it turns off injuries if you turn roster control on though, can you turn it off after you sign manny and the others?

also - it doesnt say how much the contract is, he just is suddenly a dodger
