Seeing as they'd have to pretty much start from scratch, they would have to take a year off to get something really decent to compete with madden.

This most likely wouldnt happen anytime soon though seeings how there would be many court cases that would probably last while. If anything it will just prevent EA and Take two from extending the exclusive license agreements after they are up in 2012.
