True, there are a lot of ratings but the Madden QB ratings were needed and should make recruiting QBs a lot better.

That's in the sports forums and has more to do with the Random Thought threads. We don't need 5 threads on NCAA 2013 IMO

The dim passing icons represent the receiver not ready for the ball (not looking at it), you can still throw it but there's not a good chance it will be complete. Should really help stop rocket catching.

Since my two biggest complaints are addressed (psychic DBs and ball arc), I hope they address the special teams. It is not even close to 1/3 of the game, field goals are automatic, good punter = good kickers, lack of blocks or bad snaps, etc

They showed Mathieu defending a few passes as examples of how it was terrible in the past iterations, i.e. running/mirroring the receivers routes and making breaks/cuts before the receiver does and turning just in time to make a play on the ball, but that was NCAA 13 gameplay. So, uh, wtf?

Unless I'm missing what you're saying, they showed both NCAA 12 and NCAA 13 gameplay.

They made no attempt to make it clear that it was comparing. And there's not really any way of telling that it's 12 gameplay.

After they show Barkley rolling left and throwing across his body at about 1:06 you see Mathieu running the route with the receiver, and snapping his head around and defending the pass. And then again a little after, instead this time he intercepts the pass(and that looked like a new catch animation). No mention of that gameplay being NCAA 12. And no on screen indication that they ever showed NCAA 12. Then a bit later on they talk specifically about no more "psychic" coverage, but am I to just assume that the examples were 12?

The interception is def an example of NCAA 12, I'm pretty sure a couple other plays are also examples.
