Definitely. I was at 100k when the meteor shower hit and it caused all sorts of problems. The biggest issue that happens is when you grow, you need exponentially more electricity, sewage, water, etc. A department of utilities is a must.

Read one article and it sound like 300k is about as big as they could Get it. Some website arstechnica.

i have not been able to enjoy this game. the last 2 nights i played i got maybe an hour before a server crash. last night i couldnt even get offline to play. thats really fucking lame too. servers go down and you cant even play offline.

plus the game is a bit quirky with where buildings can go in relation to roads and borders. so trying to map out a grid is a little tricky.

Lost my two cities from server crashing. This is why I don't like online only games. But, being a first time Sim City person, the game does look fun.

I'm starting to not like this game. The inability to play offline is stupid.

And I also don't understand how I can fast forward time or pause it when in our region. I can't wrap my brain around that.

I mean it is essentially a MMO type of game and launch. Nobody can launch these games with out problems...its incredible. Diablo and Sim City...borked at launch.

If they ask you to do the tutorial again, just open it, then quit back to main menu. Stop playing it over and over again.

Apparently you can sabotage another person's city by building parks over what they've already built.

I might check in tonight and/or tomorrow to see if I can get a good session in. Been playing Tomb Raider while this shit has been down so I haven't gotten overly pissed about it yet. How do these people not see this coming by now? Did nobody pay attention to the Diablo 3 launch?
