Yes, because we both play games. She's a huge CoD player. We both have our own PS3's also. She uses hers mostly to watch blu-rays though.

I could live with that. It would have lasted longer than any other gaming system I have ever had.

I'm going on just over three years with my box. I haven't had any problems with it at all, not even the one red ring.

It's even been knocked off the shelf once or twice.

They say that with every new chipset. It remains to be seen if this new Jasper one resolves the issues.

my launch xbox is still going strong (despite being modded and subsequently banned), and is also not louder than my old civic, my second box i bought refurb from gamestop and went RROD 4 days after the 1 month warranty from gamestop. luckily the manager hooked me up with a new one. So i guess im on boxes 1 and 3....

2nd XBox, but my first one died because something in the disk tray broke. Dont' remember what it was. It's been about 2 years now since it happened. Everything is going good with this one so far.

3 RRoDs and one time when I got the last one back from repair, it would turn on but wouldn't play any discs. It was sweet.

I thought I was safe from the RROD, but it hit me about a year ago.

I actually had a good experience dealing with Microsoft. They sent a box right away, and I received my Xbox back pretty quickly, as well as an XBL 1 month gold card. Not as good as HP was when my computer was dying, but pretty damn good.
