The Official VSD Game Night

I copied and pasted this from the random thoughts thread because I didn't know we had a game night thread already.

I'm almost thinking for that vsn game night thing you guys need to find arcade games or something because I would of liked to go and play but there's no chance I'm going out and buying BF3, or Halo or Red Dead to play them once and then use them as coasters because I'll never play them again unless your banking on people still owning the game. I remember reading people having problems getting Halo reach.

Just kinda throwing it out there because personally if you would of had a trials evolution night instead of BF3 I'm guessing more people would come out.

We're starting with popular games to get the ball rolling and show that this is something people can sink their time and money into and really feel like it's worth it.

The only real suggestion I have is to try and find cheap games because there are a lot of people that buy games and trade them in and rebuying for one night really isn't all that appealing.

I actually own GTA4 still on 360 so if a hockey game isn't on I might jump on.

The moment you've all been waiting for has finally arrived! Have no fear, because the Official VSD Game Night is here.

This has obviously been tried a million times before with little to no success, but what's the harm in giving it another go? Enjoy my shitty banner and get pumped!

The rules are simple:
- We meet on Xbox Live & PSN (your console of choice) every Monday at 9:00 PM EST (6:00 PM BAST) to play the flavor of the week.
- Game Nights will be a mix of co-op and competitive gaming.
- NO SPORTS GAMES. You fuckers play them enough as it is.
- You will have a one-week notice for each Game Night. This gives people time to rent or purchase the game if they're interested.

First game will be announced tomorrow, with the Inaugural VSD Game Night v4.0 kicking off on Monday, April 9 at 9:00PM EST.

EDIT: Game notices will be sent out the last week of every month for the entire next month. That way we can give people plenty of time to acquire games.

  Game Night #2 - 04/16/2012: Halo: Reach (360)/Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (PS3)
  Game Night #3 - 04/23/2012: Battlefield 3 - Classic Maps (360/PS3)
  Game Night #4 - 04/30/2012: GTA IV - Vanilla (360/PS3)
  Game Night #5 - 05/07/12 - TBD

I can't believe that it hasn't dropped to $20 yet. It came out in, what, November? I don't think it sold well at all. Fucking Activision.
