If anything needed to be fucked with it was the snipers I'm sick of people running around and shooting those things.

That's because of quick scoping. Why they continue to include that is beyond me. Back when Jay and I were playing Nuketown we had this fucking kid on our team that was near the top of the board each game. He just kept bragging about his K/D and kept saying "X number of those kills were quick scope" like he was so fucking proud of using an exploit to get easy kills.

I actually liked this game before this recent patch I actually had some fun last night with it, But this patch is retarded they added recoil to weapons just for the sake of adding recoil. I don't think SMG's were overpowered at all they just happen to better on maps that are in this game. They should have left the SMG's alone, and the bouncing bettys which they also made useless with this patch. I guess the people who were crying about not being able to put up their flawless scores will love this patch but for average CoD players they may not feel to great about it.

My problems with the game are the douchebags who sit in corners and wait for you to walk by and unload, the campers who sit in one spot ADS'ing and the overpowered killstreaks. I am not one to complain about the COD franchise but people like that and the killstreaks have killed this franchise for me. Unless the change the engine completely, i won't be buying any game from this franchise again.

Edit: don't let me forget the quick scoping, spawn raping and lag. Those were prevalent last night and this may sound like i'm over exaggerating but it all really happened last night.

I agree with you 100% about this game. The kids who do all of that are the ones who complain to get the game dumbed down and tailored to them. Nothing beats the amount of time I spend with friends the first week this game it out, and I'll probably continue to buy it at that point, but the game doesn't hold much weight with me anymore.

I would rather them go back to COD4 and WAW and make it basic again. Let maps and gameplay set it apart, not ridiculous kill streaks.

Speaking of which, we should probably do a VSN game night with one of those games soon.

We were playing search and destroy and in the end it was just me versus him and he has to plant, because he was running out of time. So, I just go and wait by one of the bomb locations until he planted. It just so happens that he runs to the bomb that I was in and I killed him. He gets all pissed about it. Was that camping? I just don't see the point in me running away from a bomb location in that situation.

No thats how you play the game in that situation.

All I can do is camp in this game. On all of the Modern Warfare games I'd grab a UMP/MP7/MP5 and would have no problem running and gunning. The guns were easier to control and it was easier to see enemy players. I can't do this on Black Ops though, the controls aren't as fluid, the guy you're controlling seems more stiff. Maybe it's just me but it seems like in Black Ops the players are less in focus from their surrounding environments, you have to look harder and in more places to see people which I don't have the time to do while I'm running.

The camping makes it extremely boring.
