I really do pity those who only own 360s. That video just reaffirmed the decision that was made after purchasing MLB2K7 to never get a 2K baseball game again. The only reason I got it that year was because the PS3 hadn't been released yet and I had no other choice.
Why are companies aloud to purchase "exclusive rights" and then put out a terrible product. If the Show was out for both systems no one would buy 2k. Ever.
T. Dot bought 2k9 and he has a PS3. lolz.

If The Show was out for both systems, whoever decided to do that would be fired on the spot.
SCEA is a Sony owned company right? So if they decided to make it on both systems (which cant happen) then wouldnt it hurt the sales of the PS3? That would be the last thing they would want to do. 2k has never been known and never will be known for making a game appeal to the "sim/hardcore" baseball gamers. They have been known to target the casual and younger gamers. Think of it, if you are a 10 year old kid are you going to want the game where on default difficulty you can hit a HR 50% of the time or the game that you can struggle with and is a bit of a challenge? I am pretty sure they would choose the game where you can jack HR's.
Now Sony has the Show so they can try and lure the hardcore baseball gamers to buy a PS3 and it works a decent amount. If they were to some how put it on 360 it would hurt the sales of the PS3 because the people with 360 wouldnt go and buy a PS3 if they could get it on 360. It would hurt 2k's sales probably but it wouldnt help sony with selling there PS3's.

Only problem with your theory is the fact that Sony loses money with every console they make. They make their money off of games.

But they still would be making the systems so selling them would be their number 1 priority. And if it came out for 360 (which will never happen) a portion of that would have to go to microsoft. So why would they make a game that would hurt there sales but only help Microsoft?
"And the center fielder is going to do a barrel roll of his own.... WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS GAME?!! WHO THE FUCK MADE THIS GAME?!!! THIS IS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT IVE EVER PLAYED IN MY LIFE!". Lmao yeah I first saw this on PastaPadre and died. I literally fell out of my chair and died laughing.
