Renting from gamefly, hopefully it comes with free trial to play online. All these games now have online pass for every game makes gamefly sometime's not even worth it.

I got it yesterday. Really enjoying the single player campaign as its what you would expect from previous GOW games. Haven't touched the multiplayer yet

I think I am going to pass on this one. Kind of a shame but nothing is screaming play this. There are plenty of other games out there to play. Honestly I think I would rather play DMC over this game...never played any DMC game before but it look more interesting to me.

What I do find interesting is the story is now a bit complicated so I tried to figure out the order of events/games.

There are 6 God of War games.

1 - 2005
2 - 2007
3 - 2010

Prequels
Chains of Olympus - 2008 - Set before GOW1 but after Acsension
Ghost of Sparta - 2010 - Set after GOW1
Ascension - 2013 - Set Before GOW1

There is a mobile game in there...but fuct that.

Man I hope I can pick this up today. I have the range today and I'm hoping we're not there long so I can shoot over to Best Buy and pick it up. It's hard to pass up an $80 CE with an actual statue. I didn't even know there was going to be a season pass.

when you try the demo all it shows is a countdown clock.

I just started this up tonight after finishing Tomb Raider. I'm still early though but I'm playing on Normal. The game looks incredible.

Plays just like a typical GoW game so far but I' not even an hour in.

I said before the game is fantastic levels are great bosses are fun, gets really hard towards the end on hard diffiuclty. It'll be a real challenge to those that try to beat it on titan difficulty. Great game regardless, I wasn't able to try out the online but looked fun and unique, maybe they make it free online like UC3 in a couple of years.

Is this before or after the patch (is it even out)? I read they were going to make the end boss fight easier after several complained through a patch.

Before the patch I beat it, the patch just came out today it looks like now after every level you get health and magic back. Seems kind of pointless now, why make it easier for people that can't beat it. It's not like it was physically impossible to beat and it was broken it was just hard like any old school NES game.
